Amazing locale. This is off season. Few tourists. Not many locals too. Cozy. Quite. Friendly. Not many are conversant in English.

Very nice hotel and spa in a very nice environment, with extremely nice views. The Internet didn't work in some parts (like ours) of the hotel. I don't know if that was good or bad. ;-)

Great view from the room and also from the dinner table, directly to the mountain. Service was super nice. You can see that the hotel is quite old, but in a good condition. The Onsen (hot spring bath) were great. Be careful, they switch the over night the ladies and gentlemans. So we thought we went into the gentleman bath but were politely guided to the other bath. All in all clear recommendation.

Not for the ones on the cheap, but the service and food is good. Very nice to have a hot tub with a great view in the room.
