Shibuya Stream

A wide range of restaurants available and it is not as crowded as other shopping centres nearby. Easy access to the train station and other facilities thanks to the new pedestrian overpass. Quite moody at night as well, worth giving it a try.

Modern contemporary building with lots of restaurants, coffee shops and office space.

I only visited the commercial retail component of the complex. Well designed and pays homage to the old rail line that used to cross through the building (hence the old rail tracks on the ground). Restaurants can be higher end. Part of the complex is the restoration of the Shibuya River. Really it is still channelized but they added some waterfall feature and railing. You can relax with lemonade as you hear the water fall.

Nice new restaurant, hotel, and office complex in Shibuya. Great place to spend an afternoon. Google occupies most of the upper floors so this is really about the restaurants and hotel on the first 5 floors. Conveniently located on top of Shibuya station and right next to the new Shibuya Scramble building, too.

We found a lot of souvenirs from the little market on the lower level. It's mainly restaurants so it was quiet in the late morning but there were nice, clean restrooms.
