There is a traffic light before the police box, but a considerable number of people are ignoring day and night, both pedestrians and bicycles, crossing the red light. Surprisingly the other day, there was a person ignoring the signal in front of a standing policeman, but of course there was no compliment. Since there are many people on a holiday with a lot of people in a single red light, at least hundreds of people a day is a generous police box.
