It is a quiet and splendid temple. At the Sanmon, a beautiful crane welcomes you instead of Nio. The road to go is quite steep and the curves are tight, so be careful. And the parking lot is small 😅 The toilet next to the parking lot is new and very beautiful ♥ ️

お遍路で訪問しました。 生名バス停から歩きで1時間以上掛かります。納経所の上品なおばさまから「歩きですか？たいへんでしたね、ご苦労さまでした」と声を下さりとても好印象でした。 生名バス停からの遍路道、境内、次の太龍寺への山を下りきった先まで自販機は全く無いかと思いますので歩きの方は飲み物の準備が必須です。

Is it the power of faith in a magnificent building in the mountains? I can't hide my surprise. I am grateful that the parking lot is equipped with a well-cleaned flush toilet.

Enter Prefectural Route 283, Tsuru Pass, and climb the narrow road of Prefectural Route 146. There are places where there are severe differences. A difficult place worthy of the name of "Nioni Tsuru". However, once you arrive, a majestic temple will appear on the hillside of the mountain. Go beyond the magnificent Niomon to the precincts. The famous triple tower was under repair as of July 2020.
