Fukui Station

The next stop on the way to see the dinos in Fukui for our kid--she of whom earned the nickname "Dino" when she was little--was, of course, full of thrill and anticipation. The animatronic giant beasts made the stop there at station the very seriously good pickens!!!!

On the right side of the ticket gate is the red brick building of Tochisen (Ashikaga Textile), a nationally registered tangible cultural property. The station was opened in the 40th year of the Meiji era, but now it has been renovated beautifully.

Near this station is Yagi-shuku, the birthplace of Yagibushi, which is famous in Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture. Fukui Station is a single-track section with no waiting room, so the limited express trains on the down trains are stalled by the up trains. Waiting time is up to 5-7 minutes. Give priority to the limited express Ryomo !!

It is a quiet station. There are no shops around the station, and there is no waiting room at the station, so waiting is hard.

An empty country station. Don't ask the city for common sense and manners.
