Being very critical of French patisserie, I have to say this wasn't amazing. The pain au chocolat was extremely dry (lacking butter), and one of the cheesy bread was simply lacking flavor. Overall I would say it is acceptable, but no more than that.
Perfect little pastry shop to grab something on the go. They have delicious croissants and pre-made sandwiches - both sweet and savory.
Quick paced. Their melon bread looked so good! And they bake everything right in the shop so you know it's fresh.
Matt and I shared a croissant to give us a little fuel as we head into the Bamboo forest.
Definitely popping with customers! You can grab a tray and start placing items onto it.

Another nice little bakery in Kyoto station. Conveniently next to Kintentsu Kyoto entrance. Alongside the regular bakery fare, they also offer mini pastries that are a nice addition to parties or just as finger food.
We were used to take there our pastries in Kyoto. Probably not the best but convenient when you have to take the train.
Amazing pastries. Had few of them everyday when in Kyoto!
