駅の待合室が寒い。扉がついていたり暖房があると待ちやすいかも。列車の時間を調べて待つのがいいと思います。

You can see Ozu Castle from the platform. There is no convenience store nearby, and cold tea and cider are sold at the adjacent tourist information center. If you want something a little more, you should go to Fuji Gran, which is about a 5-minute walk. There aren't many buses, so I wonder if it's a good idea to rent a bicycle at the tourist information center.

Garyu Lodge See Japan National Tourism Organization A castle town in the Uchiyama Basin where the Hiji River flows Traditional events held every season are attractive "Ozushi" is a fortified city built in the "Uchiyama Basin" in the western part of "Ehime Prefecture", where the prefecture's leading great servant "Hiji River" bypasses. History is everywhere, such as "Ozu Castle" and "Garyu Lodge", showing a townscape called "Iyo's Little Kyoto". The white walls of "Ozu Castle" reflected in the "Hiji River" and "Garyu-yeon", which quietly embraces water upstream, have been known as a scenic spot from ancient times. In the "Hiji River", "Ukai" is practiced from summer to autumn (traditional fishing method for taming cormorants to catch fish). The appearance of "Usho" in black clothes getting on a boat, handling fishing nets and catching sweetfish using many cormorants, lights up "Yagatabune" (a large boat with a roof-shaped cover) to enjoy cooking and drinking. You can also see it quietly. Also, in early autumn, "Imotaki", a traditional event of "Ozu" that has continued since the 17th century, is held. In this event, taro, tofu, pogo mushrooms, konjac, and chicken are placed in an iron pot and boiled to eat. From late autumn to early spring, fog called "Hijigawa Arashi" can be seen around the Hiji River. Iyozu Station (Japanese: Iyozu Station [*]) is a station on the Yosan Line of the Shikoku Railway in Ozu City, Ehime Prefecture, Japan. The station number is S18 and U14, and it is a complex structured terrestrial station that combines the form of single line and island.
