It is a station located between JR Ryomo Line and Ashikaga Station and Kobuchi Station. It became an unmanned station from March of this year (2019). No escalator, no elevator. The ascending (Takasaki area) platform is directly connected to the station building, but the descending Oyama area platform cannot be reached without using the stairs. No shops. There is almost nothing in front of the station, but there is a large factory, so there are convenience stores and take-out sushi restaurants nearby. The bus stop is also near the station.
