I got a really delicious tempora-don here - different veggies + 2 prawns. It was really good value, all of this for ¥900!!! It is run by a very old but sweet Japanese family and there is even a manga bookcase for you to flick through while you wait for your food. It’s actually a bit of a legendary local restaurant as many tv shows have filmed here before too! This food here will definitely fill you up well for the long walk ahead to the shrine!!

A restaurant right in front of Katsuyama station. It's like a restaurant in the daytime and a restaurant that serves sashimi and small dishes at night. It is the only dining room in front of the station, but when I went there, there were no customers because it was a weekday. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is the same as that of a cafeteria everywhere, but it is rather calm. I ordered a set of grated soba and sauce cutlet bowl. I often eat grated soba in many places, but the soba here was one of the most delicious soba I have ever eaten. It was chewy, the soup stock wasn't too heavy, and the grated radish wasn't too spicy, so I ate it. The sauce cutlet was exquisite, and the cutlet was soft and delicious. With this, ¥ 850 is reasonable! !! At first, I tried to eat at the Katsuyama Dinosaur Museum, but I put up with it and ate it here, which was the correct answer. I don't know if there is a parking lot, but if you come to Katsuyama by train, we recommend that you have lunch here. ← It is just a personal impression.

I was planning to go to a nearby local food mom's shop, but since it was a holiday, I went to this place nearby. The Fukui specialty set of grated soba, mini sauce and katsudon was also delicious, but I added homemade mackerel heshiko-yaki and sake that I was curious about when I saw the menu. This is very delicious and I'm glad I could choose this restaurant. The set menu is not large, so I think you should definitely try homemade mackerel heshiko-yaki.

At Midori-tei, grated soba, a set of sauce cutlet bowl and homemade mackerel heshiko-yaki were deliciously called. ☺️🌈☺️ It was a treat. I will come back to Katsuyama when I come. 😀‼ ️😆💕✨

Founded 80 years ago. It is a well-known store near Katsuyama Soba that you can easily enter without straining your shoulders. We recommend a set of handmade thick and chewy chilled soba and sauce cutlet bowl for 850 yen. I also had a fun talk with my mom. I will stop by again!
