Opened in 1897. There is a retro shopping street on the west side of the station, and there are also shops for Sano ramen, fried potatoes, and delicious soba noodles.

There's a long platform that doesn't look like a local station, so you can cross the tracks from the platform to the station, you can dive underpasses, and the limited express "Ryomo" stops That's why. However, even when I got off, there was no convenience store or coffee shop, and even looking at the timetable at the bus stop, I was hopeless that I couldn't rely on it. There is a taxi company's sales office, so it's helpful to be able to get on quickly.
