It is a municipal park located along the Gyoda Bypass (National Route 125), which runs east to west from the center of Gyoda City. The Gyoda Green Arena (Gyoda City Gymnasium), which is equipped with a main sub arena, table tennis room, training room, etc. on the south side, a tennis field with eight human tennis courts, a baseball field, an archery field, and softball and youth soccer. Full-scale sports facilities such as the Freedom Square, which can be used as well, are available. In the spacious multipurpose open space, you can enjoy playing ball games from casual ball play, and there are plenty of playground equipment such as roller slides, universal combination playground equipment, and swings. A jogging course is also maintained, so this park is ideal for picnics with families, for short walks and jogging. It is about a 15-minute walk north from Gyodashi Station on the Chichibu Railway. Basically, it is convenient to use the city shuttle bus to come to the park. Get off at the general sports park bus 🚌 stop. About 12 minutes by car from JR Gyoda Station. There are several parking lots around the gymnasium.

At this time of year, there are few people in the park, and I enjoy walking, jogging, or leisurely reading at Shiayama ☺️

A fairly large free parking lot (opening from 9 to 9pm). There are toilets, vending machines, and benches. Gym 4, stop 10. Boiling is good near the green arena entrance. However, there is not much boil other than that, and there are not so many stops, so you need to walk around to some extent.

I visited for the first time for a soccer tournament. The parking lot was large and free, and besides the ground there were parks and restaurants. The toilet did not feel so dirty there, and there were both Western and Japanese style. The park is mostly for playground equipment of target ages 6-12, and there are many playground equipment that junior high school students and toddlers can not play. There were a slide, a mini athletic, a balance beam and a swing. The restaurant is located in the management office, and it is the name of a store that says "Takao House" if it is information on the Internet, but now it is a store that says "Oasis", not Takao House. The store is not so wide. There were jelly fries, fries, shaved ice, potatoes etc. Take-away was also possible. There is a mini 4WD course and sounds in the shop, so you can play on the course and hold a mini concert.
