Daikanyama T-Site

One of the best spots in Tokyo: stylish, relaxing, beautiful... and centered around something that only exists here: a CD / DVD / book store! And it might be torn down and redeveloped in the next couple of years, making it even more perfect for this city. Enjoy it while it lasts.

It's fundamentally a bookshop with a coffee place in a not-so frequented area in Tokyo. You would not probably come all the way here just for this. Great mistake :) The place seems to be thought to be extremely pleasing in every way: the selection of books and music is really interesting, the decoration and distribution is made to please humans (large windows, natural light), the building is in itself interesting and most* of the people are quite goodlooking (*we were also there) ... what else can you ask for? Just spending more time there. If you've been moving from one place to another in Tokyo you wont be able to leave. Plus it is located in a seemingly wealthy residential that's interesting to perambulate.

I stayed outside on the patio. Nice for summer but has a couple misquotes. Be good to drop by the hidden family Mart for some bug spray. The patio and seats get really sparse on weekend so it's hard to find a spot. But when you do, sit back and people watch.

This place is next level there's a restaurant, a starbucks, a place to listen to records, a place to watch movies, an incredible kids section, indoor and outdoor seating. For bookstore this is beyond amazing. We love that there's more than just the Tsutaya, but it definitely is the highlight.
