This is the only brewery opens at 5pm. Luckily it is a good choice to visit. There is a video room for guests to watch how they make sake, then a display, plus sovernir room to sell the products.
It's free to taste 3 types sake and they also serve ice cream sake (300/400 yen). Staff are very nice and helpful! Their sake won many awards and the price is acceptable. I think it's better to buy here and support the brewery.
A shopping place rather than brewery. Staff have limited sake knowledge and aren't friendly, far from flexible omotenashi, like prohibiting sold foods on the bar counter and ordering move out of staff area which wasn't visible. You may feel being ordered based on staff's own policy. Enough parking places -maybe a nightmare for drivers wishing to drink.
This is one of the most affordable ways to experience kaiseki which is always very well done. In addition to sake, the gift shop has a ton of merchandise from spreads to crackers.
Staff were helpful when it came to taste testing and the Blue label is recommended. Makes sense why it was used at Nobel Prize events.
Grab a bottle for home!
Lovely staff, delicious sake. Close enough both to Kobe and Osaka, easy to find. If you’re looking for a combined sake brewery experience and tasting bar, probably few better places to go.
