Surprisingly excellent food. Most museum cafes I have been to overcharge for generic food. Not only was this food delicious, but they served local specialties, and made an effort to create a dinosaur aesthetic with the presentation. The special fukui sauce katsudon- pork burger had a dinosaur footprint bun. The parfaits not only had dinosaur cookies, fresh fruit, but the skins of the fruit had been partially peeled and cut to look like claws! I also ordered the zaru-soba (soba is also a regional delicacy along with the sauce katsudon pork cutlets) and it was very good. On top of that, the prices were so reasonable. The set menu with burger, fries and dino nuggets was about 1,000 yen (with a drink), the soba was around 700 yen, and the parfaits were also about the same. Beating the crowds: It's a lot about the timing, as other reviews have said. We went shortly after the afternoon opening (COVID precautions), when most people were focused on seeing the museum. We did the restaurant first and then museum so it was practically empty. But I have been here when its very crowded as well, and the experience was still good (try to sit on the counter seats facing the window for more privacy).

A restaurant in the Dinosaur Museum. It was very crowded because I went on Saturday and Sunday. Fukui's local gourmet sauce cutlet bowl and grated soba set and kids plate have a dinosaur shape, which is fun to see, but the taste is moderate.

Used a long time ago It's very crowded when the timing is bad Pterano bowl laughed Just right for the story But Fukui's specialty sauce cutlet bowl is also hard to throw away, so if it's crowded, it might be good to eat it at another store.

Restaurant in the Dinosaur Museum. Since it was during the summer vacation, when I went past 11 o'clock, I was already waiting for 2 hours. Outside the store, there is a machine for reservation registration on the right side, and enter the number of people. If it is not a table seat, there is a display that waits for 30 minutes, so you can select it without hesitation. Behind the reservation machine is selling lunch and bread, and you can eat on the rooftop. I wonder if there are people who notice this ... By the way, you can check the waiting list on your smartphone. Menus related to dinosaurs are popular with children, but I'm grated. good. It may be because I am hungry, but it's good. However, it is better to make the lunch space a little more fulfilling. In the high season, even if you open a store outside the building, it is quite usable. 4 stars with added points.

I went on weekdays but it was crowded. I think I will wait on Saturdays and Sundays. I ordered a dinosaur burger. It was bread in the shape of a dinosaur foot. Since it is a restaurant in the Dinosaur Museum, there are many menus with dinosaurs somewhere. In the kids menu, the plate is shaped like a dinosaur, and the curry rice is shaped like a dinosaur.
