Soft cream is superb with chestnut flavor and sweetness just right. Service and cleanliness excellent as most places are in Japan. Chestnut bento was plain but good. Chestnut and rice with some pickled vegetables. Very simple but delicious. Wish there were more chestnuts! Kind of skimpy on the nuts for the price.
Good spot for lunch, not just sweets. Soba and chestnut rice set was tasty with good portions. Nice atmosphere and efficient service, conveniently close to Hokusai Museum.
Serves Japanese dishes with chestnuts items. Tried Miso Nikomi Udon (Udon noodle with Miso flavor soup with mushrooms, little meat, Napa cabbage e.t.c ) which is probably the best choice during Winter season. Roasted Japanese tea was served by a pot which allow me to enjoy a moment.

Special items served 1/19/19 - 2/17/19 as Winter appreciation festival (Mushroom with Soba dumpling and a bowl of a chestnuts sweet rice until Feb. Then Soy milk based Veg, meat, shrimp pot.)
Special breakfast item (two sweet rice with chestnuts ball with Miso Soup) 600 yen is served 9 - 11 from December through March.

I had coffee, marron shoe set, matcha, chestnut kanoko set, and chestnut bean paste. The taste was good. However, even if I write my name on the information board without waiting, I do not come to confirm or call. No one comes. The person at the store does not feel it and ignores it. Among them, I was asked to sit and wait, and after a while I was finally confirmed and guided to my seat. I didn't seem to be so busy, but I didn't have enough attention to make arrangements. Is the group the main one?
