Very friendly and helpful staff. Cause I'm not able to eat everything I asked for what's inside in it with my swinging words right to left Japanese. They were really patience and I could feel the sincerity in helping me. The cake self was also super delicious, especially the green matcha one. I will be going back just 2 eat that one 😁

Nice place if a bit generic. Seems like all of the dessert shops in Japan have very similar dishes. It's clean inside and has delicious desserts, but I left wishing they had something different. We arrived 30 minutes before closing (plenty of time to eat dessert IMO), and they made a bit of a fuss about leaving before they closed. I thought that was rude... Minus a star.

Overall well presented,this small patisserie catched our eyes during one of our Kyoto's promenades. We got in and we saw our positive expectations evaporate soon enough. The service was pretty mediocre as the young lady who served us, took quite a while to bring us the order (a matcha tea and a latte) as she was visibly having a real fun time with her fellow colleagues(the shop has an open kitchen). Starting already annoyed we had our desserts -the vanilla cream choux, the mango verrine,the minazuki mascarpone cake and the "Japanese mind" mako- The choux and the cake were delicious, we appreciated the use of the traditional flavours, especially regarding the cake. Unfortunately the other two desserts weren't at the same standards. The verrine had no textures, really bland flavours while the mako had a really grainy mousse and a quite dry sponge at the bottom. Considering the prices and the appearances of the shop, we were expecting much more. Really disappointing.

Absolutely loved the chestnut cake here. Their small breads (matcha and fig) was yummy too. A bit on pricey side, but money well spent
