free. Exhibits from Jomon are lined up

Excavated items from the ancient to medieval Assuke area and modern folk items from modern times are displayed. Especially explanation of Asuzu castle and Iimori castle in the Middle Ages is detailed. Although it seems that admission fee is very good, you can see it free of charge. It is at the foot of Ashinagi castle which restored the medieval mountain castle splendidly, so it is better to drop by those who are going to Assuke castle.

A good old-fashioned museum where you can relax and visit. The percentage of materials from the Jomon period is large. The clay figurine is being rented for the full thirty years.

Although it is a small and sober local museum, the palm-sized female statue here is a must-see. I call it “Asuke Venus” in my heart.
