Painless English-friendly registration, took about half an hour. Clean, good equipment. Covid precautions were quality - masks, sanitizer, temperature check, and air filters. Going to have to learn kg and km, though.

Wanted me to pay another $70 on top of normal membership just to continue using the gym. This as because of a quirk in the system apparently. And in perfect Japanese bureaucracy they were unable to get around it. I have gone to a different gym.

A simple gym equipped with the following: 1 x Smith Machine 1 x Rack and Weights Standard Dumbell Rack Standard LifeFitness Machines (Most of the usual stuff are there except a Shoulder Press Machine and the rare Calf Machine) Yoga Area big enough for 2-3 pax 2 Unisex Toilets and 1 Female Toilet Combination Lockers for Valuables (Small) Jacket and Shoe Racks Clothes Cabinet Drinks Machine I came on a weekday morning and found the gym relatively empty, except for 4 folks doing their routine. Managed to clear my workout without any inconveniences. One major thing that was missing though, was a drinking fountain. Please bring your own water and towel if you are visiting this gym!

no shampoo, no body soap, no drinkable water. A staff was in her cleaning closet I could see some Q-tips, asked if they had any, she told me straight they didn’t. the two stars are for the machines, they had nice ones. not going back there ever again.

In front of Higashi Shinjuku elevator entrance. There a Family Mart below, so location is very good. Gym it self is not very especial, but is cheap.
