Tenkoku (Tenkoku) Museum

Seal Engraving (篆刻) Art Museum is, as far as I know, only here. You'll be impressed with their works. The building was built in 1920 for merchant's stone warehouse.

A museum renovated from the stone warehouse of the Taisho era. The three-story stone warehouse is overwhelming. The way of renovation is also good and I like it. Although the number of works is small, the parking fee is free and the admission fee is 200 yen, so I think it's good for a quick look. It feels good to have a solid response from the older sisters at the reception. I think it's okay to stop by when you come to Furukawa, whether you're coming here from afar.

It's rare for a museum specializing in seal carving, but I saw it with great interest. The building itself has been designated as a nationally registered tangible cultural property, so I think it was worth seeing by itself. The atmosphere is great so I want to go slowly again.

A very rare museum with only seal carving. Surprisingly, I felt that it was carved and modern.
