Beautiful. 30 minutes drive from kumamoto. 200 yen for whole day. If you love nature and peaceful place, this place is worth the try.

Shiraito (White Thread) Falls: An ideal place for a warm cup of coffee at the bench under the leafy canopy of large trees before or after the short climb to the waterfall basin. Also in very close proximity is a cultural center.

From the parking lot of Shiraito Falls, I will go down a fairly long staircase (not a steep staircase, but about 10 minutes on foot), but the surrounding scenery is good and I really like the beautiful waterfall. It seems that you can drive to the side of the waterfall, but it seems that the road is narrow and entry is prohibited depending on the time. By the way, I visited on November 27th, but it was prohibited to enter.
