Akita Museum of Modern Art

From July 11th (Sat) to September 13th (Sun), 2020, "Mucha Exhibition Alfons Mucha-Art Nouveau no Hana" is being held on the 5th floor of the Akita Prefectural Museum of Modern Art. I lived in Akita prefecture until high school, so I missed my visit after a long time 😊 Quiet and wonderful view ✨ It is also a place you want to visit slowly with your family.

It is convenient because it is adjacent to Akita Hometown Village. There is no problem with parking lots. Both the museum and the parking lot are free, so if you have time, it is good to drop in casually. When the weather is nice, it is a good idea to stroll around the museum and watch the sculptures. The building has an overwhelming appearance from the exterior. Many works of art can be enjoyed even if you are not familiar with painting.
