Agata Station

昭和3年開業の無人駅。駅の周りは見渡す限り田んぼが広がっていて建物は見当りません。ある意味絶景駅!この県(あがた)駅の周辺は江戸時代に日光例幣使街道の宿場町として栄えたようです。駅を南側に少し行った所に肉牛の畜舎がありました。

It is a train station in the field. It used to be a post town, but nowadays there are only a few houses around the station, and there is an industrial park a little further away. At this station, you can see the limited express trains of the up train and the limited express trains of the down train at the same time !! So there are four stars.

This station is called Agata Station. I think few people can read it. It is an unmanned station. There is nothing around the area and there is only Ashikaga Minami High School on the north side. There is a train exchange facility, so sometimes Ryo stops. (We cannot get on and off service…)
