The Nagasu Town Office is about 700m south of JR Nagasu Station. The deterioration is a little noticeable. Nagasu Town is a long and narrow island that protrudes into the Ariake Sea, and has prospered as a fisherman's target or forward base. The current vast paddy field was formed by the reclamation project by Keicho 12 (1596), Higo clan lord Kiyomasa Kato, and Kanbun 4 (1651), Higo clan lord Hosokawa Tsuneto. The current Nagasu town was merged with a part of the former Nagasu town and a part of the former Kiyosato village in 1955, the following 31 years with the former Rokuei village and the former stomach red village merged to become the Sakae village, and further 32 years with the former Nagasu town. It has merged with the former Sakaemura and is now known as Nagasu Town. JR Kyushu Kagoshima Main Line runs from northwest to southeast. In addition, the Ariake Ferry, which connects Nagasu Port and Tahira Port in Nagasaki Prefecture, operates on the sea and is blessed with convenient transportation. Under the blessing of the Ariake Sea, in a warm and comfortable climate, we are developing as a city where rich nature and industrial areas coexist.

On Sunday I borrowed a parking lot for cycling. I appreciate being able to lend you very much regardless of the people outside the town. Indeed, we were able to enjoy the beautiful sea and country scenery of Tamana. Thank you!
