You can learn about volcanos, not only Mt.Mihara in Oshima but also all over the world. and sunset view from entrance is great.

Seen as a stand-alone museum, it's not worth the trip all the way. The main exhibits are panels and volcanic products, which you won't find anywhere else, but they are well organized and educational. The highlights of the Izu Oshima Geopark, including Mt. Mihara, are also explained, so it is a good idea to visit here before adjusting your itinerary.

They kindly responded to the wishes of the visitors. I felt the warmth of a local museum. We also recommend movies that you can watch for a different fee, because you can get a comprehensive understanding of the island.
