Kappa live in Shiki City, where there may be a meeting place for kappa.
There is a walking course and if you conquer it, you will get a healthy body.
Fight Fight
I went out again when the cherry blossom season was over and the time for fresh greenery began. Is it a revetment wall with several colors of pink, white, purple, etc.? It was planted in good balance.
Then, I visited again in early June when the sunlight reminded me of early summer. It was my third time. A wide variety of colorful hydrangeas were blooming on both sides of the right bank zone road.
It is the confluence of the Shin-Kashigawa River and the Yanase River, and when viewed from the Nakasu Zone, the left bank zone (5 Nakamuneoka, Shiki City) has "Sakura no Komichi" and the crescent moon zone, and the right bank zone (2 Hommachi, Shiki City). There is a thicket of trees and "Komorebi no Komichi" where spring water flows out. There are Shikishima Shrine and Tagoyama Fujizuka in the immediate vicinity, and there are several attractions and fun spots, so you can enjoy going out according to your interests. (Districts are divided by the Shin-Kashigawa River)
In spring, you can see the beauty of gradation, which is due to the difference in the types of trees, such as the flowers, the trees are smoky yellow to young leaves. I am overwhelmed by the breath of spring, changing the color of green in a short period of time.
Not only in this park, but in the spring of this year, the air is clear. The flowers and the greenery of the trees are reflected more vividly and the heart is shaken.
If you include Shikishima Shrine 3 times in a short period of time, you have visited 4 times in total. There are various ways of spending and having fun, but I feel that I am attracted to the word "hikimata." When I was a child, adults used to call Shiki "shikimata" or "hikimata," which was strange and questionable for some reason. During this visit, I learned that the area around Honmachi, Shiki City was once called "Hikimata". It's a very personal and trivial experience, but it's a convincing answer to decades of questions.
Then, I was interested in what it was like or what it was like, but there is "Hikimata Riverbank" in the right bank zone of the park, there is a horse head Kannon (1769, Meiwa 6 years) on the left side, and a Seikannon in the center. (Genroku 10 years, 1697 years), Sanbutsu of the horse head Kannon (the age is unknown) was enshrined in "Hikimata Kannon Hall" on the right side. The building of this temple itself seems to be in 1967.
In the early Edo period, the Nobutsuna Matsudaira, the lord of the Kawagoe clan, is opening the transportation of the Shin-Kashigawa River that connects Kawagoe and Edo. The "Hikimata Riverside" was prospered because it was located at the intersection of the current Shiki Kaido and the Shinkabegawa River.
However, the Arakawa and other rivers have undergone major renovations following the great flood that occurred in the late Meiji era. The Shin-Kashigawa River was repaired from 1922 (Showa 11) to the early Showa period. As a result, the water level of the river decreased, making it difficult for barges to pass, and the shipping of the Shin-Kashigawa River came to an end in 1931 (Showa 6).
On the other hand, in 1914, the present Tobu Tojo Line was opened, and the transportation method is changing.
The Iroha Water Park is being built as part of the "Waterside Space and Full Utilization Project" in Saitama Prefecture. In order to convey the history of shipping to the present, we run the "Iroha no Watari" boat several times a year. Later, we plan a large-scale operation with the Nakasu Zone as the dock. It seems that you are also raising a boatman. Had a spring festival been held this year, I would have been able to see part of it.
I also knew that the Kurome River flowing through Asaka City was also included in the project in Saitama Prefecture, that water was drawn from Tamagawa Josui to make wildfire stop water, and why the Matsudaira family's grave is located at Heirinji Temple. It was. It will take a long time to write, so stop it.
It was unexpected that I could learn about the place where I was born and raised and the events near it, now that it has been quite many years.
(I referred to Wikipedia, public relations, history of hometown Asaka, etc.)

A scenic park with flowers and trees. There was a bench in the shade behind the tree and it was good to take a break. There are playground equipment and a parking lot near Sakuranokomichi.
