Ubeshinkawa Station

宇部線の途中駅の中では一番の主要駅でしょうか。 1番乗り場が異様に広くて噴水(の跡?)が設置してあったり、駅舎の天井が異様に高かったりと、とにかく駅の構造が特徴的でした。 夜に宇部線乗り通しの際に訪れたのですが、この駅の付近は街明かりも多く、沿線の他の地域と比べると比較的安心感がありました。

It's subjective, but it felt like a "JNR station". The station building may have been built before the war. It was a very nostalgic feeling. The ticket gate is not a machine, but a manned one. The downside is that I feel lonely around me, probably because I arrived at night, and there is only a convenience store. There aren't many izakaya, just snacks. Zo came in June 2018. It's a pretty prosperous place, but I think it's a calm station suitable for a quiet station. If you're going on a trip, I think that it's a good atmosphere to get on the way back a little earlier, and to meddle up in the journey in the station building with a rather high ceiling ... There are too few coffee shops today and there is no place to rest, so it's close to Yamaguchi University Hospital, and even a coffee shop inside? There is a transfer from Ube Station. Line 5.6 is a single line to Shin Yamaguchi Station. There is a city circulation bus from No. 2 bus stop, so it is convenient for Yamada Hospital and other nearby places.
