Morning walk with children.
On November 22, 2020, I took a walk along the Shiba River from the interchange in Minuma Ward on the Metropolitan Expressway. The blue sky was reflected on the surface of the river and it was shining.
On the way, it was a lucky day for a small hawk to catch a mouse and eat, and to discover a shining blue-feathered kingfisher.
This urban oasis area is a favorite place to forget about everyday life.
Surprisingly, the closest station to this landscape is Saitama Shintoshin Station, which has the most urban landscape in Saitama 🌾🏙‼ ️ As soon as you walk east from Saitama New Urban Center, which is the core of Saitama, a quiet rural landscape spreads all over the area. The contrast of Saitama Shintoshin seen from Minuma rice fields is beautiful as if you were looking at a microcosm of Saitama prefecture, which has both urban and rural aspects. I was able to meet a nice landscape under a pleasant autumn sky! ️
Everything is beautiful, and the sight of cherry blossoms and the green carpet is wonderful
During the summer months, I had the opportunity to stay near Minuma rice fields and went for a walk every evening. The blue sky far beyond the spacious Minuma rice field was wonderful even in summer. It's easy to imagine that the autumn and winter evening skies would be a nice touch. The cherry blossoms seem to be wonderful, but I can't forget the evening glow of Shibakawa.
