In the second year of Reiwa, Hakuhagi, who is related to Date Masamune, wrote on the mountain gate that September 22 was "the best time to see". I don't know what will happen next year, but please refer to it. The Nio of the Niomon may be old, but the ceiling painting is also wonderful. The Olympic Jizo, which was built in the middle of the Edo period, seems to be the oldest in the Tama area, but I couldn't see the characters well. There are stone Buddha statues that imitate 88 places in Shikoku, and you can enjoy a mini pilgrimage. They also run a temple cafe. There are also sutra-copying sessions and Sunday morning reading sessions. If it was close, I wanted to participate in the morning sutra chanting. It is said that it enshrines Daikoku-sama of the Seven Lucky Gods of Musashi-Itsukaichi. When I went there, there was no one at the delivery office because it was a poetry party, but when I came to get a copy, I received a red stamp from the temple of Togoku Hana. It seems that the red stamp is done from 1 pm to 4 pm on weekdays, and it seems that it is not done in the morning on weekdays (as of autumn 2020). Saturdays and Sundays are from 9 am to 4 pm, so please be careful about the reception hours if you would like to receive a red stamp.

I was surprised to see the magnificent halls lined up in the mountains.

To put it plainly, there is no great cultural property. The Buddhist statues of Kunishige are kept, but they are closed to the public. However, the appearance is pretty good, and the grounds are well maintained. The temple halls of the Daiganji Temple are arranged side by side in the east and west side, and the function of the temple seems to be concentrated in a newly built building about two-thirds of the east. I am. Both the romon (Niomon) and the Kannon hall are magnificent, and the Kannon hall is particularly marked by the worship service and the sculptures in vivid colors on its left and right. It's a pity that the hall is not open to visitors, but you can still fully enjoy the charm of modern-day shrines and temples. Even though it is in the suburbs of Tokyo, it is hard to say that it is easy to access, and although there is no such thing as a shrine or historic spot scenic spot in the surrounding area, it is a difficult point, but I think that it is a temple that is worth visiting once.
