It is healed in a spacious and airy "space". However, there is no shade in the site like a large parking lot. Is it good to enjoy the wind under the eaves of the main hall in the middle of summer (laughs)? The red stamp (300 yen) was also easy to write. I would like to visit "Sesshu Garden (500 JPY)" when there is time and it is not hot.

In the garden of Sesshu, the bullet holes in the battle of Iwamiguchi at the end of the Edo period that remain on the pillars of the main hall, and the temple that history enthusiasts can't resist.

It was built in the Heian era as Tokimune Masuda Dojo and was originally called Anpukuji Temple near the mouth of the Masuda River. However, the great tsunami spilled out, and in 1319, the 4th generation seamen from the Yukyu line were revived. In 1374, the 11th castle owner of Masuda Nanao Castle relocated to the present location and renamed Manpukuji Temple, which was designated as the Bodhi Temple of the Masuda family. After that, in 1479, the 15th castle owner Masuda Kengo invited Kasei and Sesshu to build a rock garden. During the 1866 Choshu Conquest Masudaguchi War, the shogunate army was camp and the main gate was destroyed, but the main hall and the back of the warehouse remain. Main building (important cultural property) of architectural style of Kamakura era, garden built by Sesshu (historic sites and scenic spots), "Futagawa Shiradozu" (important cultural property) that represents Buddhist teaching, "South China" brought by Nanban trade It is a temple where cultural assets representing the medieval Masuda culture, such as the Sansai Vase, are gathered. National important cultural property, national designated trace and scenic spot.

I felt lonely because I saw Sesshu's garden and various things. However, it is amazing to know what the woman described here knows! Cleaning is perfect, all fresh flowers are fresh?

The garden is also wonderful, but the pillars of the building are 600 years ago (as it was when it was built), and the construction of the intersection of the shoji trees alternates vertically and horizontally, so there are various depths as a building.
