Saga Castle Ruins

Worth a visit for a day trip. It’s accessible by public transport. You could easily spent around an 1 hour going through the castle layout and reading through the history of Saga.

Very good ruins, honmaru gotten and museum. Has lots of information in English too.

Nicely reconstructed and free to enter. Interesting historical info in both English and Japanese. If you are lucky you might see some wedding photos being taken there really matches the atmosphere with traditional costumes.

Didn't explore the inside of Saga Castle Ruins due to time restraint. Heard it is free to enter. Need to take off shoes before entering. The exterior Saga Castle Ruins didn't have much to explore, spacious spaces to walk.
