The visitor center has a small fish rearing facility and toilet but seems to be unmanned when I was there. There are displays of wildlife and a model of the juniko area with led light ups

This is the base for hiking on Lake Juni. Many people go to Aoike, but ... It's not as blue as the blue pond in Hokkaido ... It is ultramarine. If you look at other people's photos, they are processed to make them blue. Not only here, but also the pond in the boiling pot was blue as well. It was very pleasant to take a walk in the forest. About 30 minutes on foot from the Juniko Visitor Center. There is a map on site. You need to be careful about the traffic of cars as you walk on the road for about 10 minutes. There are several lakes along the way. Free parking at the visitor center. The roads in the forest are well maintained and easy to walk.
