DON'T JOIN, if you are not japanese, Very rude and misleading staff, specifically if you are a FOREIGNER, they would make you join and pay deposits and later every other day they would find a way to trouble you with small issues. Every day they come up with new rules just to trouble you.

This is the only notable gym in Asakusa, so I didn't really have much of a choice as I didn't wish to go to Ueno to work out. I live next doors, so it's actually super convenient. That said, its 20 years old, and you'll notice. It's not in bad shape or dirty, though - but the interior looks dated, in terms of style and decoration. It also could do with some colors, it feels a bit cold / clinical in there. That all said, it's absolutely functional. It's also super unbusy most of the time, so no waiting times, no crowded locker rooms. Aside from the gym room with cardio and weight lifting machines, and free weights, there's also a swimming pool, and a sento-like bath with a sauna in it. One major downside is, that it's only accessible through the two mall elevators, which are very busy.

Recommended if you want to swim in the large pool! Although it does not cause inconvenience, the machine itself is often outdated due to the age of the facility itself. The running track is interesting, so check it out!

The quality of the stuff is low. People's degree is also low. A level where you regret why you joined.
