Amazing place to go when in Naha, you can start your visit in this neighborhood Tsuboya in the museum to have a overview about the local pottery and after to walk in the district to visit all pottery studios and even you can do a pottery class, that is very nice to have contact with local artisians.

Good place to learn about the pottery. Reccomend you get the audio guides as there isn't much discription once inside. Audio guide helped a lot!

Very interesting museum, english audio guide is available. We took around 40 minutes to visit the whole exhibition.

This was a very nice experience, very clean and updated with many exhibits and you can get a video for your native tongue that gives you a narrative you can understand for some of the important events and product types in the history and in the museum its self. Very well put together. It also has a video that plays but it is in Japanese but the pictures tell the story even if you do not understand the audio narrative.
