Very convenient location near the station, decent rooms, nice hot bath. Considering the pricing, breakfast could be better.

Near the station and lake, remember to walk from biwa lake exit of the station.

Good, small hotel with a nice view over Lake Biwa. Very near to the train station of Nagahama.

I say yes to Green Hotel Yes! I stayed here with my friends while cycling around lake Biwa (the receptionist was intrigued to hear that we hailed from Poland, Finland, America, and Thailand). The accommodation was inexpensive, clean, and overall pretty nice. There were a few bike parking hiccups, but it was nothing serious. Nagahama is a gateway to the breathtaking (and difficult) mountain passes of northern Lake Biwa; Green Hotel Yes will allow you to mentally and physically rest before embarking on this leg of your journey.

Very clean and decent, there is also a very good yakitori next door. I was however disappointed by the wifi, they don't have their own connection and use another service which doesn't work well at all, and also by the fact it was not possible to use their sento/onsen at around 9am (so after breakfast).
