Really awesome museum of Nikon lenses, has stuff to explain how lenses do what they do in a camera, how they make them etc, so even if you're not into Nikon specifically but like cameras, this is still pretty interesting. My favourite parts were all the old camera models, surveying equipment and microscopes. Signs have English as well as Japanese and there's an audio guide available. The gift shop has some neat pin badges and keyrings etc, perfect for taking back for friends and family. Really awesome for a free museum!

You will get to know so much unknowns that Nikon is into! Wide range of products beyond their Cameras and lenses they are known and famous for. Great experience. Very convenient to walk from Shinagawa station.

Nikon history museum. You can see a lot of their old and new cameras. Also more than 500 photos of the railway than photography started to get more popular (around 1960). And some nice short videos filmed with their cameras. And of course test some huge tele lens with Nikon cameras. Not much information about how cameras works though.

An extensive, well organized company museum for Nikon in a very elegant business center. Even if you aren't interested in cameras it gives a good understanding of the the science and scope of optics companies ( such as industrial and science applications). Kind and helpful staff and interesting exhibit on train photography was also running when I visited. To access, take the skyway walkway from the train station and follow the signs to building C.

Very nice atmosphere, and the exhibits show that Nikon makes more than cameras. Visitors can try out the legendary 1200-1700mm zoom lens as well as other exotic telephoto lenses.
