Yawata Station

It is an easy-to-use station. I went to Akatsukayama Park (Gyogyo Land) from here.

Since there is an elevator, people with wheelchairs can use it with peace of mind. There is a disabled toilet, a men's toilet and a women's toilet at the ticket gate on the first floor.

It is a station on the Meitetsu Toyokawa line. All train types stop at each station within the line, and there are approximately four trains per hour, but they are not evenly spaced because they are single lines. Although it is an unmanned station, it has been elevated, and it is the only elevated station on the Toyokawa Line. Elevator and wheelchair restroom are also available. Trains are often exchanged here because the bar line station is next door.

The site of the Yawataguchi signal box will be under the elevated railway, but the location can still be easily identified due to the curvature and planting of parallel roads (about 300m from this station toward Kokufu). On the other hand, Ichida station was near the 3km post (the platform is on the north side) near the end of the eastern elevation. The side road is closed here and you cannot approach the old station ruins.
