A huge park, about a 5-10 minute walk from Omiya Koen Station, on the Tobu Urban Park Line. There's a huge pond, lots of open space and walking paths and trails. There is also a small amusement park, playground for kids and a small, free zoo. The amusement and zoo areas could use some renovations, but still a good place for the family. There is also a baseball stadium nearby, and two shrines. Usually busy on weekends. No wifi or receptacles for phones or tablets. Admission is free for the public park and zoo.

Amazing park, with a big temple, a lot of nature and a free zoo. The entrance is also a very beautiful long road with big trees

This place is situated near Omiya station..It's suitable for enjoying with friends and family. There are some stalls here. We can buy Japanese street food. Beautiful temple also situated in Omiya park. Also, there is a small zoo in this park.

Omiya Park is very suitable for people who want to experience nature in Omiya City. It is big park with a lot of amusement varieties like museum, playground, ice cream shop, shrine (there are approximately 7 shrines here, including 1 main shrine), zoo, japanese garden, stadium, river, small restaurants, etc. Omiya Park can be a place where you can relax in hours. Many people went to this place for picnic (especially elders), learning the nature (especially kindergarten students), painting, pray in the shrine, etc. The zoo and museum is closed on Monday. Omiya Park is all-in-one recreational green area with 5 stars quality, very recommended!
