This gym is enormous, spread over 3 floors, Floor 4 - cardio and reception, changing rooms. Floor 3, a large weight machine floor with very large bright windows across the entirety of one side. And B2 - which is accessed via elevator too, with cable machines, squat racks, weights, pretty much everything you need. Everything is in excellent condition and staff are always on hand. There was a friendly atmosphere at the gym, seems that a lot of hardcore gym goers go here. The changing room has a sauna and showers, and is quite clean. Lockers are large. I am a tourist so ensured I brought my passport with me, the price was about $30 for a daily pass, which I thought was fine. I don't have a tattoo so I can't relate to the other reviews in that sense, but I highly recommend this gym. Staff were great, lots of equipment, clean, LARGE. Nice atmosphere, sells protein shakes and gym gear also. Great location! During the day it was never too busy.

Large gym with nice facilities however their tattoo rule is extremely over the top. Yes some gyms around Japan will have a no tattoo policy, and ask you just to not purposely display your artwork. But this place is next level stringent on wrapping every millimeter of you up so nothing is shown! They are so strict on the policy that even my partner who's an influencer for golds gym could not get any leeway. Quite ridiculous considering this is a western brand gym in a prime location which of course is going to attract foreigners! Quite honestly, lighten up, change your policy, and allow more business! In short good facilities but steer clear if you have tattoos, the hassle is not worth your time.

I wish I could give this place 6 stars. Probably one of the best gyms in Japan in terms of equipment. They have 3 floors with one being dedicated to cardio and reception. The other one dedicated to machine weights and is split between a open section and a womens only section. Then the basement floor which is dedicated to serious lifters, probably one of the best places to train for body builders or power lifters.

Not sure why there are all these negative reviews! Have been at this gym for two months now as a foreigner and have had no issues! Yes, signing up was a bit of a hassle since the front staff do not speak great English, but if you put in JUST a bit of effort you can definitely understand what is going on. The staff have been pleasant to me everyday and never given me trouble. Also, there are different rules because it is a different country, so please respect the culture. No tattoos, passport required for signup. If you are dedicated to working out and want great equipment, I would definitely recommend this place. Locker Room also has sauna, the place is open 24 hours, and has a great view of Harajuku!
