It is a peace memorial park to remember praise of the war dead of the war in the Showa period. Kyoto Higashiyama is full of tourists from overseas now! Most are Asian people. Naturally they come also to Lishan area, I wonder if you know the meaning of the monument etc in this place. I take hard pictures with the same feeling as the neighboring sights. I hope they do not make funny political claims in this place, and conversely they do not stimulate them. Because it is not related to thought, creed, etc. to remember the war dead.
