I’ve experienced poor customer service at this shop. Stand on first floor to choosing the kimono, but there is no one come to serving me even I’m standing on there for couple of minutes and trying to communicate with the staff. Especially the one of the staff(maybe hair stylist) she took OBI(帯) away from my hand and put it back to the cabinet, she said the color which you chose is not suitable for the Current kimono, will looks like a ghost :) It is so rude:) I can’t believed that the staff can saying these words, I chose my favorite color and design, even it not looks good, they are no right to took it away from hand and put it back without asking. Strongly understand all of the staff is busy, but REALLY RECOMMEND THAT TO IMPROVE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I booked this store through its official website with 3000 yen deposits. It took one hour to choose the clothes and make the hairstyle, so you’re better to well plan your schedule. The Japanese lady will dress you up so carefully. They offers kimono with 2 different prices: 4500/9800 yen, if I didn’t make any mistake. The limited return time is 18:30. Very nice service and good experience

Tekuteku has the most beautiful collection of Kimonos and the team are very professional. Make sure to book in advance because they do take their time to serve each of their customers. Highly recommended!

Extremely poor customer services, and no privacy at all when you are changing. Very limited selection for man’s. All English they know is ‘ok’. Most disappointed experience ever in Kyoto. AVOID!!!

Clean and bright store, receptionists are really professional. various vivid kimono to chooce, it's also convenient to take bus here and walk less than a minutes.
