Osen Park was built along the Denu River. It is a park created in honor of "Osen-san," who is said to be the founder of Soka Senbei. A small park with the atmosphere of a post town facing the old Nikko Kaido in the Edo period. In the park, there is a tea room-style rest area, a bulletin board that imitates a kosatsu, and a Japanese-style toilet. free entrance. Next to the monument of the birthplace of Soka Senbei, there was also a "monument of the back alley" where Basho might have stopped by. However, the anecdote that Osensan made rice crackers was a smoky story.
Although it is small, it has good sunlight and visibility, so I think it is a good place to take a short break.
Although I visited without any knowledge, I learned how Soka became famous for rice crackers.
GET INTO THE WINTER LIKE A FAIRY IN JAPANESE ONSEN VILLAGE ❄️❄️❄️
The Japanese often say that, one winter night, walking on the snowy streets in the hot spring town of Ginzan Onsen makes them immediately feel like time has stopped.
Zan Located in the middle of the mountains of Yamagata prefecture, Ginzan Onsen is a peaceful hot spring town, attracting visitors by its ancient beauty, like stepping out of a fairy tale.
Ước Stepping into the blocks of Ginzan Onsen you will feel like you are back to an old time. In the evening, the street lights decorated the landscape, becoming even more sparkling and fanciful. In addition to the Ginzan Onsen hot spring, this area also has many interesting outdoor activities.
👉 Directions: From Yamagata Station (山形) take the train for 40 minutes -> go to Oishida (大 石田) take the bus for 15 minutes -> change the bus at Obanazawa (尾 花 沢) then take 40 minutes -> to Ginzan Onsen
Sendai From Sendai (仙台) take 2 hours by bus, change to Obanazawa Bus and then take 40 minutes to Ginzan Onsen
It is at the entrance of Soka Matsunami. There is a large stone monument with a bench. In the Edo period, the rice balls sold dumplings, but some of the unsold dumplings were crushed with palms, baked and baked with soy sauce. It seems that the shop was around here. I heard this story as a child. A real trap
