A long-awaited exhibition hall that will explain in detail the Shidami burial mounds! In the exhibition room on the 1st floor, you can clearly see that the burial mounds were built because Shidami was an important local city that was connected to the Yamato region in the middle of the Kofun period. The building was built using the river terraces of the Shonai River, and can be walked out from the 2nd floor to the old tombs. You can see Otsuka Tumulus and Okute Tumulus at once, which is very convenient. There is a guided tour that it is difficult for amateurs to look around old tombs, so this is recommended! Around the area are Shiratoruka Tumulus, Kattezuka Tumulus, Owarito Shrine Tumulus, and so on. A play!
