Sano City Museum

The display of Shozo Tanaka, a local saint, is wonderful in both quality and quantity. Was it a moral textbook written in the language of the elementary school? I remember learning the life of Shozo Tanaka's beliefs. Perhaps because of that, even when I looked at the chronological tables on display, I felt like, "Oh, there was such a story ~!" (Lol) And the story is surely "When he died, his only thing left to use up all his resources to save the people was one poor Zuda bag. It was concluded with an impressive sentence "It was." What I didn't really understand in my child's mind was, "What is a pebble? Why did you carry it around?" Given his personality, I thought it wasn't gear for attacking stones (laughs), but it was a long-standing mystery to me. Amazingly, the relics of Zuda bags and pebbles were on display. It was a small, round, smooth pebbly stone, and it was thought that it was the healing of him to look at it and hold it. The mystery was solved and it was really refreshing. (Lol)

A replica of the Erasmus statue, which was the stern decoration of the De Liefde, was exhibited during the Edo period. (The actual item is stored at the Tokyo National Museum. It is an important cultural property.)
