Ditto all the past visitors here - a worthwhile stop if you are cycling around here. Best at sunset but a refreshing stop on your way to or back from Zushi Hayama area !
Nice little park. The parking lot is closed currently because of Covid. There are a couple of sandy beach areas with a rocky area between. People were there sunbathing and fishing. It is small and sadly there is some plastic trash from the ocean but the view is very pretty. If you go take a bag and pick up a few pieces of trash to take away!
View of Tatishi, a huge and unique rock in the sea and in the background of which is famous Mount Fuji, is a spectacular place on the Akiya beach in Yokosuka. Ando Hiroshige, a famous painter of the Edo period, created a wooden block print by Tateishi ukiyo-e that made the landscape widely known. This scene is of interest to many painters and photographers
Beautiful park with natural rock formations and outcroppings, sand beaches with many shells and sea glass, and a wonderful view of the coast.
Nice place to visit.
