If your looking for somewhere with genuine craic check out Jeff's! Friendly staff, great people and an electric atmosphere. The place has an international, relaxed feel which was refreshing. Opens from 8pm but doesn't get going until around 10pm. Closes late. I'd recommend the 'JW berry' tasty tipple! Enjoy.

Excellent bar for the traveler to unwind in. Drank Oolong tea and chatted with regulars as well as Takumi-san the bartender - Very happy to chat through a weeknight and the atmosphere in the bar is friendly and cozy. Best place I went in Kumamoto.

Good sized pub/bar, has plenty of seats to sit around the bar and relax and they have a DJ area with dance floor if youre feeling like busting out some moves. Good prices for alcohol, bar staff can speak English and are very easy to talk to. Definitely recommend this bar to anybody who wants a good night out. (Gets busy around 11-11:30)

The best bar in Japan so far. A really chill relaxing place! From Australia I felt comfortable and at home! English dude too, so cool
