Shop with great kimono variety that you can choose from to rent. Friendly staff available to help you put on and remove the kimono.
I love the outfit I choose. Staff helped me to wear the whole set, and took one photo for me. Various service packages are available. Price is not cheap, but I find it worthy.
This rental shop is a fantastic service to rent a kimono~ :D The staff were very nice. During the kimono selecting stage, the staff helped us pick which accessories and details that would suit the kimono that we selected. They also tried their best to communicate to us in English. The service was efficient and very organised.
I would recommend that you book your kimono rental in the Kiyomizudera Shop as it is very close to this beautiful landmark (just be prepared to climb some stairs :P ). Also, I would recommend that you book early and select an early booking time to get the most out of the kimono rental. I would also suggest selecting the complete kimono plan as it was definitely worth its price~! ;)
Overall, this is a great way to try on a kimono and I'll defiantly be coming back to this shop when I come back to Japan
