It is the southernmost station on the Boso Peninsula. It is not as lively as Tateyama or Awa-Kamogawa station, but there are restaurants within walking distance from the station. A sign of a fisherman's town drifting somewhere while making me feel lonely locally. The station near the sea has a comfort that you can't feel in the city.
The station is located in the countryside, but the station building is very beautiful. However, in the summer, the waiting room of the home is full of insects. It can't be helped in the countryside, but be careful if you don't like insects. I think it's best to wait at the station building until the train arrives.
Here, I often used it at the beginning of high school.
I remember this ginkgo dancing a lot in the fall.
Nowadays, the number of train users is decreasing, but I think it's a good idea to take a leisurely ride once in a while.
駅舎は新しいが、ホームに出てみると、古さが目立っている。
また、駅員さんの態度があまり良くない感じだった。
