In my twenties (female), I didn't feel far from the parking lot to Ohirayama Shrine. Very close! I don't feel it, but I think it's normal. But the stairs are pretty long, so people with poor legs and the elderly may be tight. However, it is free and wide and easy to understand, so it is recommended when going to Ohirayama Shrine.
