Most maintained trails in this area. It's a good trail run route but there are bears in the mountains so that neccessary to carry a bear bell, radio or bear spray. It's about 9 miles route from Shigenai via Mt. Akiba and 1670 ft elevation gains.

You can drive up, but it's a good exercise to put it in the parking lot at the foot of the mountain and walk up to the natural house.

I can go by car. There is an observation platform, and anyone can climb.

You can overlook the Odate. The staff is kind and nice.
