The remains of a temple in the Nara period located in Itami City Midorigaoka. Excavation survey was carried out from 1958 (1958) until 40 years, it turned out that it has the same cathedral arrangement as Horyuji Temple of Nara. It was designated as a national historic site in 1964, and the whole area centered on the Kanpo ruins and the tower trail is being maintained as a historic site park. It is pointed out that this temple is known for a long time and that there is an old cornerstone as "Linglin old toe (rei Rinji kyushi)" also in "Settsu sightseeing show (ee)" published in Kanazawa 10 years (1798) It was. In 1958, excavation survey was conducted from the same year until 40 years, as a result of the discovery of water smoke and a part of the foundation during cultivation of the field, the whole area of ​​the temple was revealed. Temple and Buddhist placement The placement of the cathedral is "Horyuji Temple", with Kondo in the east and towers in the west in the south. A corridor surrounds them, a middle gate in the south, and a monk in the other three sides. The auditorium is in the north of Kanno, followed by a bunker on both sides. And there is a Tsukiji fence (Tsukiji) on the outside of these major cathedrals. It is partly different from the arrangement of the Horyuji style that the auditorium is closer to the east side than the central axis. The auditorium straddled the road on the north side of the current historic site park and the site of the Ground Self Defense Force Central District Headquarters.
